I’m going to address both here. ACA has been in effect for years. It would be quite a coincidence that ICUs today are overflowed while a pandemic causing people to go to the ICU is not the problem and the ACA is. If the ACA were the problem, it probably would have manifested before. I’d really like something more than a wild guess on your part showing this.
As to sneaky, it isn’t the percent…that doesn’t matter. It is the change versus the normal range of ICU usage. Covid has clearly taxed our hospitals and unless you can come up with some alternate explanation (preferably with evidence that doesn’t reek of hindquarters), Covid remains the reason. Is there some other malady that is sending masses of people to the ICU? A rash of accidents? Tell us.
