Brennan is all talk - he has no basis for a suit. It is standard practice to take away security clearances from military or government employee when you leave government service. President has the power to do so.

Agree - lose the job - lose the clearance. Brennan is an arrogant looser- but aren’t they all.

I just wish these arrogant people would just go away. I also wish that Trump would stop twitting for 30 days- that would drive the media into a frenzy. That would be a show worth seeing.

Brennan is ’ lucky’ he has not been arrested or at least censored for the remarks he has made against the President. He has no grounds for anything, not even a whining tweet! The “clearance” is always on a "need -to-know- basis. I have been there and done that-really. I have had probably one of the highest clearances available, working with the Asst, Chief of Staff, Intelligence in the Pentagon, because I was in a need to know position. Once you leave the job, no longer an employee or a need to know, there is no reason the clearance cannot be withdrawn. Everyone being fired, resigning or being indicted need to have their clearances revoked immediately. It should be a written and stated policy, with the exceptions being, their services being needed by the government, then approved by the prior department or the President.

I guess he’s going to use the “I can’t get a job without it” argument. Too bad, it’s just going to be a waste of money to a bunch of lawyers. Maybe he can get the “creepy porn lawyer” to take his case. He seems like an ambulance chaser anyway.
