First Covid-19 outbreak in a U.S. nursing home raises concerns
This was known and was widely circulated and sent shivvers up the spines of anyone paying attention. It was a true wake up call to all of those in charge of nursing homes and elderly care facility managers across the nation. They had time to put in place a system of protection for their elderly, vulnerable occupants but IMO…they failed miserably and as a result, thousands died whose death may very well have been prevented? What Cuomo and four other Governors did was so ignorantly wrong, placing COVID infected patients into non-infected nursing homes has to be concluded as criminal. All of these arrogant Governors should be removed and prosecuted.

It was completely wrong considering you had a hospital ship sitting in your harbor. Why put these still sick and infected patients into nursing homes, when you had an empty ship that never really saw any patients. You had make shift hospitals all around the city that were not at capacity.
Still, We didn’t have anything like that in Indiana, and we still have the highest nursing home mortality rate in the country from June to January.
Cuomo ■■■■■■ up for sure…But Indiana has had a severe problem with Nursing home deaths all along. 49.6 percent of all deaths due to COVID are nursing homes… and back in November, December and January, it was more than half.
One factor that people don’t comprehend is that from an administrative point of view, you can’t control what your employees do outside of work. I have spent 11 months constantly reminding my staff that they need to still be mindful of what they do outside of work…where they go who they are with. I had one of my managers get covid, not from caring for residents, but because her roommate got COVID and even knowing that, she didn’t wear a mask at home.
Then to top it all off, while infected with COVID, she went out to a club for her 30th birthday, sans a mask, dressed to the nines, and infecting her friends…yes…two of her friends came down with COVID a week later. If I could fire her for stupidity outside of work, I would. But I can’t.
But this is the kind of thing that also continuously causes infections in nursing homes. Staff bring it in. NO matter how much you shut it down. If you can’t curb even a little bit, what staff do outside of work, it is going to happen. My staff have been pretty good, many hate me, think I am acting like hitler…but honestly I am not telling them not do have a personal life, I am just telling them to be careful.

No, they (CNN) are now saying he’s still under some ban from years ago about his brother on his show or some such. However, they are too stupid to realize we all remember how many times he had his bro on last year to extoll his virtues.
