Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is already complaining about a potential impeachment trial in the US Senate; saying the process will likely be “very partisan” and “very unfair” for Democratic lawmakers.

“As you know, the House is expected to vote on the Articles of Impeachment this week. Assuming the Article are adopted, the Senate will serve as a court of impeachment. Conducting an impeachment trial in the Senate is an incredibly solemn responsibility,” said Schumer.

“Senate Democrats believe strongly that the trial must be fair, and it’s very important that the American people judge it to be fair,” added Schumer, complaining Senator Mitch McConnell’s handling of the process has been “very partisan, very slanted, and very unfair.”

What does he think of how the House has been handling things?
