Because it’s not against racism; it is racism against whites. By virtue of my race I am automatically condemned as “guilty” by the left unless I support Democrat politicians and virtue signal for POC and profess how much I hate all whites.

Look at thos idiotic Karen’s sitting there, probably nodding their virtue-signaling heads in approval.

That outfit ought to be illegal. OD is ruined.

oh im sure. insufferable virtue signalers.

sickening

this is how they plan to teach i’m sure. Lord over the students with this garbage like philosopher kings

Just to make it clear, the TPPF is not part of the Texas government in any way.

There was never a problem in schools that I know of in covering slavery and the jim crow laws or MLK, that I know of.
And yet I don’t ever recall seeing the term “anti-racism” until recently.
And it clearly, in its new usage, means something other than being against racism.
So yes…I see no problem in noting that.
If the term anti-racism were used in my children’s class, I would at least want to see the context.
Is the left now denying that there is something called a “dog whistle” where the meaning is not as innocuous as it first appears? Seems to me they love that term.

So by your own admission, it’s not about race, it’s about party affiliation. I agree that too many Democrats think all Republicans are racist, regardless of their skin color.

I think it’s possible you’re right, but I haven’t seen evidence that “anti-racist” stands for anything other than its plain meaning. Lots of partisan opinions, but what are they based on?

When did you first hear that term, and was it ever in relation to anything other than CRT?

The only place I ever hear about CRT is here and Fox News. I can’t say for sure when I first heard the term “anti-racist,” but it certainly predates the current CRT frenzy. For example, here’s a teaching abstract that uses it in 1994, the year I graduated from high school.

Clarence Kailin was her dad.

Is there more to this story? Clarence Kailin is someone’s dad?

He fought the fascists in Spain. Abraham Lincoln Brigade. Real Old Time Commie.

Yeah, I Googled the name. And he’s someone’s dad? And . . .?

The author of the book you posted. Julie.

Ah, I see. The abstract I posted is simply an example of the word “anti-racist” being used long before CRT became the outrage of the day. I could post many others.

this is the kind of garbage you get with people steeped in such perpetually aggrieved groups and victimology which is precisely what crt teaches

everything is due to…

Why should parents trust the school boards which are 90% democratic. These are the people who say words like Mom and Dad are problematic and should be replaced by “Caregivers” or "family. I would definitely be on the look out for key words from the group who has been trying to and in some cases successful in making laws that people have to use proper pronouns when addressing certain groups. Or changing “problematic” language such as illegal aliens to undocumented migrants the list is non stop, and it’s been done in the past and can be found here.
