Exactly. I’m in the second largest school district in the country (LAUSD)… in the most liberal part of the country… and I have never seen ANY CRT in my kids teaching. And I was at home with them for the last 18 months helping them.

It’s not being taught. CRT is not being taught.

CRT looks at “stories” like “Slaves owned guns” and examines that statement from the perspective of the slaves.

So if a teacher teaches his/her class that slaves did not own guns… despite what a textbook may say… then that is considered CRT. Thus it will be banned in Texas

No.you are confused. Teachers can talk about the various theories re colonialism, but they should make clear that the various explanations are just theories, they should present as many sides as exist in an unbiased manner and should not pressure students to accept the theory they happen to prefer, neither by bullying nor by omission.

I thought it was common knowledge that the UNITED STATES was founded by white Anglo Saxon protestants who fled religious persecution in Europe and BTW, it had nothing to do with slavery.
