I wasn’t lied too. I basically knew what it was when I took my shot. I just weight the risk and felt it was in my favor to do so.

I’m not technically to describe it thou. That’s why I refer to Torey etc.

Yes…I didn’t know that. So their is a shelf life.

From Are Boys Better Than Girls at Math? - Scientific American

Two of the factors above, age and the type of math, can impact research results at the same time. For example, two recent studies (here and here) found no gender differences in basic numerical skills in infants and children. This could be partially explained by the young age of the sample, and also because there are often few gender differences found in basic numerical skills.

From your linked study.

from https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/the-moment-youth/201912/learning-math-are-boys-better-girls

In a new groundbreaking study from the University of Chicago, the University of Rochester, and Carnegie Mellon, researchers investigated the early biology of math and gender.

The difference show up later and at the higher end of numerical ability.

From you article.

“Although the question of whether there is a gender difference in math seems like a simple one, the answer is complicated”

So it’s not so cut and dried.

Not all that many things you can’t find studies both for and against.

Not sure if you’re serious but I have a few minutes to kill.

  1. The vaccine is basically mRNA coated in fats which are transported into cells and released.
  2. The cells use the mRNA delivered by the vaccine to make the part of the virus which attaches it to cells.
  3. The cell “grinds up” that part into smaller pieces.
  4. Those smaller pieces are then presented to immune cells.
4a. If presented to “helper” T cells, they can cause antibody production (also other functions).
4b. If presented to “killer” T cells, they can lead to the death of the presenting cell as the body interprets the cell as being infected.

EDIT: In my explanation, the “viral antigen” is the part of COVID which attaches to cells (spike protein). It could be any part of a virus which causes an immune response, however.

Here is an new article on comments made about Dr. Fauci. by Kary Mullis, inventer of the PCR TEST—Nobel prize winner

No…the mRNA never gets into your nucleus.

It simply takes over some mitochondria to produce the spike protein that then induces the immune response.

Enzymes degrade the mRNA so that the process comes to an end as opposed to continued viral replication…since nowhere in the mRNA is the coding for the protective shell proteins that would complete a new viral particle.

Gene therapy actually repairs a defect in your genome.

This does not touch your genes.

That it is unknown whether or not it provides sterilizing immunity does not make it not a vaccine.

Not all vaccines provide sterilizing immunity.

This is a vaccine…it works just like a vaccine works…presents an antigen to the immune system and creates an immune response which will then activate when exposed to the real virus.

It simply makes your cells make the antigen, as opposed to injecting the antigen into the body.

LOL. Kary Mullis was an AIDS denier. He believed HIV wasn’t the cause of AIDS. That’s what this spat was about. He believed Fauci was wrong in saying HIV was the cause of AIDS. How’d that turn out?

Mullis is a nut. It’s not surprising to see him come up here though.

Despite lacking any training, research experience or expertise in either medicine or virology, Mullis – in common with Peter Duesberg – disputes whether HIV causes AIDS. Instead, he argues in his autobiography that AIDS is a conspiracy of environmentalists, government agencies and scientists attempting to preserve their careers and earn money. This is contrary to decades of published research findings that link AIDS and HIV, and some of best evidence refuting Mullis’s AIDS/HIV denial are those thousands of HIV-positive people who, believing Mullis, refuse treatment – but unfortunately, they’re dead.

I love this continual misuse of expertise in an argument.

Kary Mullis invented the PCR technique and by all accounts was an unorthodox scientist (he came up with most of his ideas while driving and surfing) and an exquisitely good chemist (he used to synthesize LSD on the sly while at Berkeley).

None of this makes him an expert in immunology.

Really people have to stop making this fundamental logical fallacy.

LOL What do you know about HIV? And Kary Mullis?

It’s “lol” for sure.

Much more than you.

So you believe, as did Kary Mullis, that the HIV virus is not the cause of AIDS?

It’s NOT about “belief”. it’s about proof, not about pronouncements without proof, made by pseudoscientists.

"To read Kary Mullis’ full interviews/statements/articles, go to these links:

“science is being practiced by people who are dependent on being paid for what they are going to find out,” not for what they actually produce."

“Mullis was described as a “diligent and avid researcher” who finds routine laboratory work boring and instead thinks about his research while driving and surfing. He came up with the idea of the polymerase chain reaction while driving along a highway.”

" Kary Mullis: “Guys like Fauci get up there and start talking, you know, he doesn’t know anything really about anything and I’d say that to his face. Nothing. The man thinks you can take a blood sample and stick it in an electron microscope and if it’s got a virus in there you’ll know it. He doesn’t understand electron microscopy and he doesn’t understand medicine and he should not be in a position like he’s in. Most of those guys up there on the top are just total administrative people and they don’t know anything about what’s going on in the body. You know, those guys have got an agenda, which is not what we would like them to have being that we pay for them to take care of our health in some way. They’ve got a personal kind of agenda. They make up their own rules as they go. They change them when they want to. And they smugly, like Tony Fauci does not mind going on television in front of the people who pay his salary and lie directly into the camera.”

It is about belief…Mullis’ belief without evidence.

Correct. It is about proof. Proof HIV was the causative agent of AIDS was given. This clashed with the beliefs of Mullis. Therefore, Mullis lashed out against those giving proof that contradicted his beliefs.

Sounds eerily familiar. I can see how Mullis would be a champion to some on the fringe right.

Again. Do you believe HIV does not cause AIDS?

Vaccines do not make you immune. Some people even when vaccinated do not develop immune responses. Some people like with measles still get mild cases even though fully vaccinated. Zan…you’re not understanding it correctly.

It’s the difference between sterilizing immunity and effective immunity.

A vaccine can provide either.

But the definition of a vaccine is a substance injected into the body to stimulate an immune response that will provide either sterilizing or effective immunity against a target disease.

mRNA vaccines do this…so they are vaccines.

The J&J vaccine is different. It is a DNA vaccine that does enter the cell via an adenovirus vector.

The DNA does go into the nucleus, but it is not a gene therapy either as it does not alter the host genome, and it is designed so it cannot replicate. It simply passes the instructions onto mRNA, and then at that point the vaccine works just like an mRNA vaccine does.

The advantage of the J&J vaccine is it is more robust than the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines.
