Here’s another change that has been pointed out to me: the information economy is highly likely moving from information feudalism into information capitalism.

In hindsight, it was inevitable. And I love the government bills for expanded access - they are cutting their own power.

This is going to have much deeper implications than it seems at first glance.

I believe the cycle of entropy sped up and is speeding up even more.

The lordlings are losing control of the narrative. The old institutions are losing their shine, through their own actions. They are degrading. Declining. In some cases rotting.

A Harvard diploma isn’t the “guarantee” it once was (for example).

Young males are seeking alternatives to enrolling in universities, especially the traditionally “special” schools. In my opinion, this is going to cause a major cultural shift. It will be interesting to see. What is it going to look like when all the girls have degrees and debt and all the boys are making money and happy? What’s that household look like?

I believe there is a “decluttering” going on. And that’s a good thing.

He’s not the only expert. He can also make mistake.

If I want to learn about infectious disease, I would seek out people in that field. He is likely to be one of them.

Disagree. But there should be recognition of a food industry/company/restaurant compliance to such standards. A little symbol on their logo or something that says “all our workers wear face masks” . Granted … inspectors would still be necessary but then people can choose.

Yes and international buyers as well. I have been wanting to move for awhile now since I was able to work from home full time but worried I won’t be able to buy another home so am waiting it out.

I have been thinking and listening about this a lot.

I think this is already a much bigger change than we realize with more to come.

And I’m thinking there’s a lot to like. I’m looking forward to a lot of it.

The GOP better figure it out. We’re not going “back”.
