The Supreme Court plans to hold oral argument Tuesday regarding the legal challenge the law. The justicesâ decision to invalidate Leavittâs order gives themselves more time to rule without facing a one-week deadline.
They said the law will remain in place, pending further action by the high court.

But if they allow another election to be held under Act 77 it is going to be hard to claim that discarding the 2020 results is an appropriate remedy if the law is eventually struck down.
It indicates how they are weighing the competing forces and that they donât see the law as obvious and outright voter fraud.
Or it may be that, in the bizarre world of PA judicial politics, the SCt Justices are reluctant to strike down an incredibly popular law when they face retention elections.
This is going be my favorite act - 77 that is.
