The studies I’ve seen say we would need 8-10% GDP growth to close the deficit.
Whoever told you 3% was lying to you.

We are likely heading into a downturn and maybe even a recession.
What would you say when that happens?
You’ve made an absurd claim and are looking for me to respond within that context. I don’t accept your argument, so there is no question to answer.
Substantiate your claim and we can then proceed.

I think you mean “there were only two people likely to win”.
The fact that other candidates had no chance of winning doesn’t make voting for them non-viable.

The GOP has had all of the power in the past two years.
They are the ones that got rid of the Paygo rule that the democrats put into place.
This is all on the GOP. Can’t blame the Dems for what is going on now.
At least… can’t blame them if one wants to be honest.

If we have another recession, it is a fair bet we won’t see 3% GDP growth.
Trump is a supply side fiscal conservative. That is a fact.

Then why is the deficit exploding?
One member on this forum, doesn’t equate to many conservative experts.
So as long as a person is pro-life they can raise hell and botch everything else…right? FTR, I’m actually pro-life, but don’t believe something like that should be legislated. Should be between the woman and God.
Supply side??? If that’s the case how is 45 fiscally conservative?
No but the context of his posting over the last decade does…
The debate centers on whether or not Trump is a fiscal conservative. DEM deficit spending habits is irrelevant to that debate.

He is a pro-choice Kenysian. He promised the government would pay for everyone’s insurance. He favors government spending big to stimulate the economy and favors artificially low interest rates.
So it is safe to assume you’ve got nothing else. Because President Trump is not governing as a fiscal conservative. Lol

The GOP owns teh WH, Senate and House and the deficit is exploding.
The GOP doesn’t have 60 votes in the Senate. Stop playing games.
