Could trump be impeached twice for the same thing

hypothetically speaking.

lets say the house impeaches trump for obstruction and teh senate acquits.
then lets say that either new evidence is uncovered or the senate changes to a big dem majority or whatever.

could the house then re impeach for the same obstruction again???

I say yes because double jeopardy doesnt apply for 2 reasons

1. teh constitution says the house shall have the sole power of impeachement so its not reviewable by the court
2. since the president would face nothing besides removal from office double jeopardy doesnt apply

I agree. There is nothing in the constitution preventing it. It definitely wouldn’t be double jeopardy.
