Incoming Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez weighed-in this week on the Senate’s ongoing fiscal fight over President Trump’s border wall; saying $0.00 should be allocated for the Commander-in-Chief’s signature campaign promise.
Ocasio-Cortez affirmed her position on social media, retweeting a post from a left-leaning organization that wrote “$0. $0 is what should be allocated for this president’s racist border wall.”
“Say it again for the people in the Senate,” posted Cortez.
The self-described Democratic Socialist found herself in hot-water in recent days; comparing the ‘migrant caravan’ on the US-Mexico border with “Jewish families” who fled Europe in World War II.
