Ok, strange. I’m just not used to that. I worked for Verizon. My wife retired from Verizon and there wasn’t any of that. Hell, when I worked for Verizon back in the late 80s, early 90s, we didn’t pay anything towards healthcare. But things change over time.
Now I pay 186 dollars a month. No out of pocket expenses. No deductible. And that’s the most I’ve ever payed for healthcare.
No shoes no shirt ….
Dress codes are evil!!! Smh
Yes yes, and no donkeys allowed in restaurants!! I think a dress codes and animal restrictions is pretty much universal. A vaccine requirement will never be if the decision is left to the business owner.
But you won’t visit them when they make the decision
I won’t visit them if they make the decision to segregate. I will if they don’t. I’m not alone either. And I’m vaccinated. This is the reason most businesses won’t do this. Because of competition.

But i just don’t understand that position.
You said if the business wants something from you then they can engage in smooching your posterior.
Why? They want a dress code, they won’t let donkeys in but that probably a regulation. Dress codes are not.
Because everything is not equal. There’s a reason for a no shirt no shoes stay the hell out policy. It’s simply a business decision. How many people are they going to lose with that policy? Try that same policy at a bar on a beach and see what happens.
I personally don’t care about the no shirt no shoes policy. I do care about a vaccination mandate. Besides, I don’t consider that requiring me to do anything as I normally walk around wearing shoes and a shirt.

And you are already vaccinated. I am not talking about a mandate. I am talking about a business decision.
Yes. I decide whether or not I like a business decision, not them. I don’t mind the no shirt no shoes requirement as it is not asking anything of me that I consider unreasonable. Asking papers please and segregating I will not be a part of. Totally different from a basic dress code.

A dress code is segregation for sure. Clothes are cultural is so many ways.
Shoes please. It’s a private decision.
Thanks for your patience, it’s just the position is Mind boggling to me

It’s not. It’s submission to government coercion.

No mandate, no problem. But I don’t want them coerced in any other way either.

Here is a new one. I don’t think this one will fly.
The largest health system in Louisiana will start fining employees hundreds of dollars a month if they are married to an unvaccinated person.

Like I said, one day they will come for you.

If your restaurant asks me for proof of vax, I will kindly say no and leave. Never to return.
I am willing to die on this hill.
This is important to me.
It is my right to choose what I put in my body. PERIOD!
We have a proof of vaccine to eat or drink indoors. I recently was turned away with a group of my colleagues. The hostess was nice, but firm. She was doing her job and I respected that. Luckily, my wife texted me a photo of my vaccination card, which I had neglected to photo. So one minute later I was admitted. What’s the worst that could have happened?
If they let you in based on a photo of vax card, they may as well not bother as that is absurdly easy to fake, so is the real one, not like it has a holograph or anything.
They’re trying to mislead with that story. Find another link and it will be easier to understand.
When I was on my wife’s plan I had to pay more because I smoked. This is similar except the employer is passing the insurance cost on to the employee.
Trump can publish a statement anytime he wants on any major news outlet and it will go national. He got himself kicked off social media outlets with his own fat mouth. Censored my ass, LOL!!
