If I’m not mistaken there are only 3 truly “At Will” states. They are, Florida, Georgia, and Rhode Island. The rest have between 1 and 3 exceptions.
At-Will Employment - Exceptions by State (ncsl.org)
For those that have the 2nd or 3rd, especially the implied contract exception, they absolutely have a case for wrongful termination. Including firing someone for not vaccinating. Probably tough to win, but you have a case.
Considering it has to be proven in order to win and employers don’t need to give a reason in at will states, tough is an understatement. It’s almost like the law is set up to protect the employer rather than the employee or something. Weird.
It’s sad many of the dems now love control by giant corporations. I like the old left better.
And notice not a drop of concern for workers rights. Just worker control…lol!
So sad what has happened to the modern Soros controlled left…

And you of course have always been concerned for worker rights?
I remember you always being at the forefront of labor issues.

To qualify for a religious exemption, wouldn’t one have to forgo all vaccines?
Also, what happened to “if you don’t like it, quit?”

That’s only when you don’t like things today’s conservatives like.
Me…I remember the whole Amazon on Long Island kerfluffle, when the righties on here were lambasting AOC for resisting it, basically saying Long Islanders should suck it up and kiss Amazon’s ring, since they’re “job creators”.
Workers are cogs for the Job Creators to deploy and use as they see fit, and the workers should express nothing but gratitude.
Until there’s a right wing cause to fight.
Then workers are the Most Important People In The World, and the “Job Creators” are suddenly Government Lackey Tyrants.

No stop.
You tried mocking me for stating that a MEDICAL exemption requires a DOCTORS note. Then you proceed to post your state’s requirements for a Medical exemption and guess what?
Your state requires a doctors note for medical exemption. You had to pivot to religious exemption to save face… even though I made no mention of that exemption…

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is calling for companies to end remote work and bring staff back to the office by Labor Day in order to support local businesses, or New York City will suffer.

Governor Cuomo is human slime.
How many more times shall we say that?
I wasn’t fond of his father, either.
And his brother is also a real piece of work.

No I didn’t.
I wasn’t talking about Cuomo in my post, so your response was irrelevant.

You were prattling on about Amazon and NYC.

And?
Cuomo was irrelevant to that.
