In South Korea anyone can just go through a drive through.

Ya South Korea is almost 200,000 tests done.

in Canada we have locked down a few areas but they are not enforced its mostly the government just telling people to stay inside.

But a “doctor can order a test” that won’t get completed because the test kit and/or lab is not available or at max capacity.

Yippeee Kiya for the Koreans.

Being right next door to the epicenter of the outbreak probably justifies such a wild spread testing program doncha think?

How many dead from the virus in SK? How many in the US?

There you go making things up again.

Yes, Italy and Canada are not the People’s Republic of China. They are not police states.

Italians have a reputation for being very inventive in figuring out ways to get around rules and regulations. I see no way that Italy can really lock down a region with 10 million.

Ya and the Government of Canada has said they will cover all expense due to quarantine, pretty easy for people to follow the rules here.

How did SK and Japan start testing months ago?

how could they gt eh material faster than us???

That is a stupid answer.

Got anything to back that ■■■■ up with?

They didn’t. The virus wasn’t even typed and mapped until the first week of February.

Check a map.

if only we had some kind of flying device that could cross the globe quickly…then we could have had the material months ago…

you’ve obviously never flown on an airplane. It’s crazy, but it makes korea and china and the USA like all within 12 hours of each other.

No, we couldn’t get the material before the Chinese made it available. Again, it wasn’t even typed and mapped until the first week in February.

As soon as that was done CDC started ramping up for production but they could not test the kits for accuracy until they actually had some of the viral material in hand to do so.

By the way, how long did it take them to come up with Tests for SARS and MERS?

Solid thinking and great plan. How he is going to back away from his rhetoric when he cancels a rally or the attendance is obviously light?

Psst, the democrats aren’t cancelling their campaign rallies either.

Psst, that’s stupid also.

This scholarly article in the Lancet would disagree.

Talks about it being completely identified before January. It was labeled the 7th known human coronavirus, and it was done months ago…not 4 weeks ago as you earlier claimed and not even a month ago.
