Chances are that he has it as well as others in his circle. But, there’s also a chance that they could be the people who show little to no symptoms. If he does fall ill, this will get politically ugly real fast.

Here’s to hoping the White House is better prepared than others.

What results?

Our reported rate of growth is pretty much exactly the same as Italy’s…we are simply a week or so behind them.

We still can hardly test anyone.

So we don’t know where we will be.

Not true. Except for the last sentence.

And he said this…

Remind you of anyone?

Based on what?

Very true. His messaging up to this point has been a mess. If he were more measured with his tone, him getting the virus could be a good teaching moment or example about how to react. But since he download the possibilities, him getting the virus would be a political nightmare.

It’s all going to be okay people.

CoronaVirus!

Based on the reports of people he has been is contact with who tested positive shortly after.

Not sure what you mean there.

Still not sure where you’re getting the CDC numbers are holding either. Keeping in mind each updated total from the main CDC site is from the day before at 4pm (except weekends where it’s friday 4pm):

March 10th (so data as of 4pm march 9th)
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-usa-cases/u-s-cdc-reports-696-coronavirus-cases-death-tally-of-25-idUSKBN20X2G2

March 11th (so data as of 4pm march 10th)
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-usa-cdc/u-s-cdc-reports-987-coronavirus-cases-death-tally-of-29-idUSKBN20Y2IY

March 12th (so data as of 4pm march 11th)

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-usa-cases/cdc-reports-1264-coronavirus-cases-death-tally-of-36-idUSKBN20Z2UV

March 13th will release in a few hours, which will be the data as of march 12th 4pm. The extra 49 cases in each count (so 1264 instead of 1215) is because of the 49 repatriated cases which the CDC site seperates.

And no it’s not Reuters data, they’re been linking directly to the CDC site/numbers.

To reiterate, the current count as of March 13th 12:33pm is 1701 cases, the CDC numbers released on its main site today will be from March 12th 4pm.

He can’t help just hating himself some Mexicans!

Balderdash. President Pence would be the best thing that ever happened to this country.

Then why aren’t you?

The previous days data that you were asking for isn’t on the site anymore, or at least not that I can find.

And because it’s already out of date. The number released today (for yesterdays partial count) won’t update again till Monday, through the official CDC site.

But they will keep providing numbers to the various other counts going on (NYtimes, Johns Hopkins etc).

As to why the CDC is choosing to release info this way on it’s official site… :man_shrugging:.

Then link to the 1700 number today please.

CDC site won’t have todays data until noon Monday. At which point they will be releasing Sundays data as of 4pm.

ETA: Johns Hopkins just revised downwards from 1700 to 1253 again, don’t ask me why.

Yes that’s absurd, but it’s the way the CDC site is currently setup to release info.

Happening at the local and individual level.

Trump gets no credit for that.

Indeed his ā€œthis is no big dealā€ attitude probably has confused the ā– ā– ā– ā–  out of a lot of people and led to the panic.

CDC not John Hopkins.

Then link to yesterday’s number on the CDC site.

All true.

Keep in mind thousands of people are not getting tested.
