Not sure you would like the result if everyone panicked over this.

The president isn’t responsible for CDC being behind the 8ball…that falls directly on CDC. The president isn’t responsible of false test kits…or possibly contaminated labs etc.
His failure IMO is down playing the dangers of this virus. In the future we need to take this sort of stuff little more serious but without the panic that media is driving. They’re just as guilty IMO…but again we know it’s politically motivated. Need proof? Look no farther then reaction of residential libs here.

Who said anything about panicking?
Do you think lying is helpful? Claiming it’s contained? Does that help? Casting doubt on the mortality rate with no evidence? Telling people to stay at work as Ludlow did? Or saying it’s no big deal if infected people are at work as trump did?
Is it helpful that the CDC developed tests that don’t work rather than using the WHO tests? (BTW, the tests that were developed profit a company trump is invested in).
I don’t want panicking , I want competence.

What? The CDC is part of the executive branch. Of course he is responsible for it!

There is a vast middle ground between “panic” and competence.

And I can say CDC is goverment beuracacy…and you want to rely on them for your safety?
They have 12 billion a year budget or something to that amount. One would think they would be better prepared.

Right…it’s never beuracacy and incompetence within it.

Yeah. Those test kits being produced by a company that Trump is invested in.
I am not going to go to some great conspiracy that he personally directed that that company be used , but remember when people were saying that the President should divorce himself from his business to avoid any appearance of impropriety?
This is exactly why.

The buck always always always stops somewhere else when it comes to Donald J Trump.
I can’t understand why.

Why can’t you guys accept that CDC failed us? A goverment agency made up with goverment bureaucrats?
I can admit Trump under played seriousness of this but you guys seems to have hard time accepting that your beloved bureaucrats dropped the ball.

And BTW…I know exactly what went down at the hospital after the first death at Evergreen…and confusion afterwards.

If back during the Ebola outbreak it came here and spread like wildfire would you have blamed the CDC or President Obama?
Where would the buck have stopped then?

At least some can find “optimism” in an otherwise bleak outlook. This crisis will definitely not be wasted.
