The premise of the article is based on unconfirmed fabrications from an unnamed somebody at CDC and is totally refuted by the CDC spokesperson.
“The assertion that HHS has ‘banned words’ is a complete mischaracterization of discussions regarding the budget formulation process. HHS will continue to use the best scientific evidence available to improve the health of all Americans. HHS also strongly encourages the use of outcome and evidence data in program evaluations and budget decisions.”

Well folks, I think I’ll take the family out to Lucky House for dinner tonight. We’ve been craving some cheap Chinese food lately and the wait times are bound to be low. lol.

Does anything you are proposing disagree with the House bill?

Except their utter incompetence on display as we speak.
Seriously, as much as I dislike the guy…if he came through…I would give serious thought to voting for him. However, right at this moment, I have a family member who is sick and he can’t get tested because we have been told anyone who needs a test can get a test. However in the State of Indiana there are 200 tests…statewide. How can we operate under such a cluster ■■■■ situation. If there were a million test kits, there would be 20,000 per state. not 200.
This is the point I have been making…if he could just open his mouth and be honest. It would be so much better. He can’t.

what about the 40 + million American that have no paid sick leave,
also deal with 40 + million American that have no saving to deal with finical sues that come with being sick (Rent, etc)
A complete partisan pile of BS.
Thanks for the contribution.
The market seem to agree with him, since it has broken twice in one week.
I see you didn’t bother reading that post.
The whole point of tax credits for employers is so that they can keep sending out paychecks.

Why would Qiagen or Thermofisher do that? The supply demands were already being met, this is an anomoly.
Pure bs. The markets continue to react to the uncertainty globally as to the effect of the outbreak.
You can’t show it has a damned thing to do with the CDC’s response.

Where did I mention either company? There are thousands of chemical manufacturers in the US alone and many times that globally.
Today, NY Gov Cuomo closed all Broadway theaters. I had tix for Saturday, and also a dinner reservation. I canceled the dinner reservation, just like literally thousands of other ticket holders did.
How will the ushers, waiters, busboys, ticket take4, security guards, cleaning staffs etc. survive?

Aren’t these specific products being made by those companies however? Pretty sure they own the rights to them. Could be wrong and they’re more generic, but then why would there be such a shortage?
Ya the service industry is going to get hit hard.
I’ve read the last 70 or so posts in this thread. 90% of which have nothing to do with the coronavirus and all to do with arguments between members.
GHW, would you PLEASE consider creating another Coronavirus thread?
Perhaps entitle it: Coronavirus Thread for those who want to discuss the coronavirus.
Then you could keep an eye on it and whenever members start insulting each other, you could move those responses into a Corona-DS thread, so that people who want to discuss the virus can continue to do so without being derailed.
Better still, forget about lumping coronavirus threads into one unmanageable thread and just leave them where they are for easy access.
Would make things a lot easier for the guests on this forum who come here for information.

Well enjoy the satisfaction that you share the same views as others that believe CDC can’t do no wrong.

Every pick he makes to every agency is controversial by Democrats. In this case, Robert Redfield was considered controversial for wanting scanning for HIV in the military. So his “controversy” was for wanting to stop the spread of disease through testing. Not exactly a drawback under the current situation.

And I see you are not willing to take the leftist to task for dividing the country and being a part of the mess. I have not seen one leftist in office step up and say what can I do to help Mr President. Wonder why that is?
I disliked Obama. I thought he was in over his head. I believed he was a horrible thin skinned idiot. I believed that he hated rural America and went out of his way to let us know how he felt about us.
But I did not lower myself to treat him in the manner that the left has treated Trump.
Just keep up the I hate Trump and anyone who supports him and see what the results will be. There are many on the left cheering and praying that this get bad. Why for no other reason than they think it will put them back in power. The only thing is by the time this is over the USA might be so broken that there will be no way to bring it back together.

What part about this that you failed to understand?
Yes Trump is full of ■■■■■ But are you going to blame Trump for failures of decades of poor planing from CDC?
Are you another one that cannot accept CDC failed to plan for a event like this?
