Sure, require away, not sure what level of compliance you will get though.
You’re familiar with the concept of just in time delivery systems, yes?
But you support it because your main concern is the economy, right?

Yep, already said so didn’t I? In fact that was my whole argument about the shutdowns, they were unnecessary if we protected the vulnerable, wore masks, social distanced when at all possible and shut down large indoor gatherings.

I’m not really worried about what others do. I wear a mask when I have to, otherwise I don’t. Obviously, you feel you should wear a mask. Do so.

The protestors wore masks, probably around 85%.

And you don’t think your 20yo self would realize that’s not the point? and that the reason you should wear a mask is so that your 20yo self didn’t catch it, then transmit it to someone who could very well die?

They should have. But they weren’t taking things very seriously were they? PA quarantined travelers from NY.

How about stop supporting ■■■■■■■ politicians who think not wearing a mask is cool?

I was an idiot in my twenties, I blame the hormones and the drugs and alcohol. So no, I don’t think I would have stopped and thought about it back then.

Not my only political concern, so while it will be noted and points taken off that does not necessarily mean their opponents are a better choice.

Even though this issue has implications well beyond the lives of americans - and you would think that alone would be enough! This issue effects our entire future really.
The President uses the term “Kung Flu” again and says “COVID, COVID-19, COVID, I said what’s the 19. COVID-19, some people can’t explain the 19.”
Man, he sure is dumb.

Hardly the only issue that does so.

Absolutely. You do realize it people not packages?

I’d like to tip my hat to zantax. He is a conservative, I believe, who states that he wears a mask on a discussion board where politically like-minded posters reject it as either ineffective or needlessly authoritarian (depending on location). I wear a mask in indoor public spaces, like grocery stores, along with my lab goggles. I thought the original idea behind this was to protect yourself from touching your face. I think that there are ongoing studies on how well different kinds of masks actually protect yourself or others from droplets or aerosols.
I get out a lot–bike, golf, see friends at a distance on my patio, pick up food from my favorite restaurants. Nobody but my wife steps foot in my house. I have two high-risk factors for severe illness.
Nobody where I live is required to where a mask, but when I visit the drug store or grocery, virtually everybody is wearing a mask. Most folks at the local grocery are black. Not so when I go to Whole Foods. Incidentally I live in a salt-and-pepper neighborhood. Very safe. Don’t always lock the doors.

Yes, @zantax is a model citizen and a good person.
If I was Asian-American, I might not think it was funny. Even young students are aware of language and they have discussions about the personal effect of language all the time. I don’t think it is funny. I think it is degrading.
Then I dispute your knowledge being absolute.
