The entire claim made that he’s mishandled this is “opinion” and baseless lies.

Damned few at best I’d wager. The WH has pretty well been on lock down with the exception of essential personnel.

Yep. Put garbage in your paper and call it an opinion piece.
It is by the editorial board. The newspaper is responsible. This isn’t some op ed.

The arguments that Trump mishandled the response are lies?

? Thanks for acknowledging I’m right, but I would be happier about it if your statement made sense.
That garbage opinion piece was by the WP editorial board. You think they are conservatives?

I was equating those conservative opinion pieces to garbage. Like you equated liberal opinion pieces to garbage.

Of course, with a heavy dose of ignorance of the timeline and partisan BS.

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, a Democrat, went from threatening doctors who prescribed the drug with “administrative action” to requesting that the federal government ship her state some. Other state leaders have followed suit, including Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak, also a Democrat.

The Fox opinion piece, quoted above, even provides a link that debunks its own claim. The link goes to an article that says -

Senate Majority Leader Mike Shirkey, a Clarklake Republican, told The Detroit News that he asked the governor to issue the original letter to prevent people from hoarding the drugs and thus depriving non-coronavirus patients of their medicine.

“We needed something to prevent [chloroquine] from becoming the next toilet paper,” he told Miles. “I quickly requested of her staff that they put something out, and somehow in the translation it was prohibiting use of these drugs — and that wasn’t the intent.”

I hope so. But even with essential personnel, it seems to me that could be upwards of 30 or more people.

Probably several hundred. All of which will be carefully screened in and out daily and they are probably all being tested daily as well.

You don’t get that close to the president easily even in normal times.

Even with my clearances when I was active I got a thorough going over every time I had to go in.

You’ve never seen anyone as up tight as the SS on a quail hunt either. :joy:

I genuinely hope so. We do not need our top officials contracting this, or Heaven forbid, becoming incapacitated or worse. We need continuity right now.

I was talking about a specific liberal opinion piece that was garbage. You were talking about imaginary conservative opinion pieces that were made up in your head. See the difference?

I do not really blame the governor, because she relies on medical experts just as Trump does. The fact is, the letter specifically said that the drug should not be used until its efficacy was proven. Hording might also have been an issue, but the letter says not to use if for coronavirus because it has not been proven.
Yeah…its that bad staffs fault. Does he not even read what they write for him?

Be the change you want to see my friend.

Kushner drew a line between the emergency equipment stockpiled by the federal government and the equipment for use by individual states.

If the stockpiled emergency equipment isn’t for people who live in states, what in the world are they saving this stuff for?

Why would Trump put Jared in charge of this? He is unqualified.

Nepotism?

What has Jared ever done to inspire all the confidence Trump has in him? Has he had any successes at all?

Well he did pay way too much for a building that has indebted him to the Saudis… so there is that.
