This is a perfect point. To draw a parallel: what if someone on this board had a son or daughter shot by police for throwing rocks at someone else. I mean, by the rationale put forth by Trump, rocks are lethal, right? So if a cop sees someone throwing a rock (or any other hard object for that matter) at someone, can an officer shoot them? Protecting someone from certain serious bodily injury or death, right? Would these proponents of capping a rock thrower be cool with it in that context?
