Conservatives, do you condemn the violence against police on Jan 6?

One thing I’ve not seen since J6 was “the most violent insurrection in our nation’s history” is evidence of police injuries. I’ve seen huge men cry to Congress but there were no injuries that I could see. What I have seen are videos of them walking peacefully around the capitol at the time they claimed they were being attacked.

I watched a video of an unarmed, 115 lb female murdered at almost point-blank range and yet, the murderer wasn’t punished, he was promoted.

The NYT wrote on their front page that 5 DC officers were murdered that day, one by Trump supporters using a fire extinguisher. That was later retracted because it was all a lie. Not one officer was murdered that day.

A number of officers have committed suicide…which is highly unusual but I haven’t seen an investigation as to “why”?

Pelosi didn’t want the national guard there that day…why not? She had the control and the former DC police chief says he called her asking for their help. There’s a lot more to this day than what has been revealed and in my opinion…shatters Pelosi and her political basis for what she did and didn’t do that day. I would like to see this can of worms opened, explored and those that committed crimes on both sides of the political aisle…punished. Thus far, it’s only been one side.

Tell me if I have this right - you don’t condemn the violence against police on that day because you don’t believe it happened?

I condemn all violence against the police.

Including that on Jan 6?

Put the shovel down.

You don’t see similar treatment in any other instance of mass civil violence. They challenged the sanctity of “our democracy” and they were crushed under the heel of vengeance and made example of.

There is no valid dispute to this fact.

The only people who died on J6 were unarmed protestors.

Videos show the police fired tear gas and rubber bullets into peaceful crowds. There is no evidence that any of the police have faced any penalties or criminal charges.

Ashli Babbit was shot dead by a Capitol Police lieutenant without warning. Rosanne Boyland was shot in the face, smothered by the crowd, and then her unconscious body was beaten by police. Benjamin Phillips was killed when Capitol Police fired exploding cylinders into the crowd, and he was knocked unconscious.

If police treated BLM/Antifa protestors with similar deadly violence, the Capitol and a good part of downtown Washington would have burned, and police responsible for excessive violence would be in prison.

J6 and 2020 were learning moments, and the lesson couldn’t be any more clear…burn your homes, overturn your cities, destroy your livelihoods and kill your neighbors, that’s all fine. Dare not climb Olympus and disturb the Gods, or you will face their righteous wrath.

It was political punishment. That’s why it didn’t work.
