You mean like Dems did with Obamacare?

Yep…

Also do you not accept that we are dealing with an immediate emergency?

So we can expect Trump will sign it within 60 seconds of the bill passing in both the House of Reps and Senate?

They made that error in the Constitution then.

Nope. We aren’t an authoritarian regime where representatives are forced to pass things blindly at the command of their leaders. 24 hours to read something so important is reasonable

Good people don’t have to be forced to do the right thing.

Ok…

See…I didn’t even have to force you to agree with me. You took your own initiative.

Ok…

Were you on Mitch McConnel like this back at the beginning of all this when he adjourned the Senate for the weekend so he could go spend that time convincing older GOP federal judges that if they were going to retire, they should do it now?

Did you berate McConnell for wasting valuable time during an emergency?

What was the date of that?

Why does the date matter?

It was two weekends ago when work on the stimulus package started.

You think this was less of an emergency two weekends ago?

I have been housebound for a couple weeks and time has become weird for me. So two weeks ago, huh. You win on your point. But are you saying that two wrongs don’t make a right - or are you saying that both sides are right?

Merely saying you are “blind in your right eye”, to steal Sneaky’s material.

I’ve been fairly (not always) consistent in saying that even in this time of crisis, our politicians in Congress are still playing the games they always play when negotiating the package. It’s what Congress does.

But selective outrage is cool!

I still think you look better than ever!

I have been told he put his John Hancock on the signature page at 4:30 this morning right after a 2 hour conference with his crisis team.

No they didn’t. They were and probably still are cluster testing. And they had test problems too.

No they didn’t

Defense is the purview of the federal government.
