It’s my understanding that the ripple effect of their failure would have done irreparable harm to this business and possibly the Chinese economy. The timing of when Trump put the hold on the punitive measures coincided with his visit to N. Korea and I was under the impression that the Chinese government was involved. The idea is to equalize the playing field and come to a long term platform that will work for us both. It’s also to stabilize the region both economically but also militarily and I think this action is a combination of the two.

President Obama bailed out GM, aided our national security by doing so, kept an economic ripple effect that would have severely hurt our nation and we’ll go down as one of his greatest accomplishments.
