I am sure if they could…they would. Not everyone can become skilled workers for a variety of reasons.

We need many of the low paid laborers to do the work, that needs to be done, but will never command a decent wage. The UBI is a way for those low income earners, to be able to live,vs just survive.
Nothing excessive…but enough to make a difference.
