It’s part of the system. Trump could have likely pled down to misdemeanors… taken his lumps, paid a fine and moved on with his life.

But he is incapable of that.

No way they were offering plea deals… the Dems and Bragg wanted this show.

I would be very surprised that there wasn’t a plea deal on the table since 99% of the time these charges are pleaded down in NY state.

I don’t understand this very strange self imposed dilemma that is being put forth.

For Bragg to have jurisdiction to prosecute, the crime would have to occur in Manhattan.

So… are there any “Democrats” in Manhattan that are breaking the law?

At this point, Trump trying to delay the other trials is an asset to Democrats. He’s already been convicted on every count once, the air of invulnerability is broken, and now the argument is, you really gonna vote for a dude who may go to prison-not jail, prison-months into his term?
