I agree that Obama should have done more to tell the American people that Putin was trying to get Trump elected so that Trump would blow up things like the UN and kill our relationships with our traditional allies.
BUT, had Obama told the truth then Trump and Republican politicians and Republican media and Republican voters would have screamed that it was a lie and that Obama was trying to fix the election. He was between a rock and a hard place.
It actually could have backfired and Trump could have won by more.
