Did the federal government have the right to determine that voting districts had to reasonably represent people, not just areas of land?
Did Congress have the right to pass the voting rights bills?
Does the federal government have the right to determine if voting districts meet constitutional requirements?

Congress can of course set restrictions… but a lot of those restrictions have been neutered by the Court in the past few years.

Why this new concern with the states rights to disenfranchise millions of voters from voting for the candidate of their choice?

I don’t think that Trump should be removed from the ballot… that is a different argument than saying that a State cannot enforce the 14th amendment.
