Cohen admites he made the stormy payment at trumps diection

Or maybe you just need to wait…because this is all you have

So much for law and order…

It was a joke… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

You’re supposed to say that before not after.

I don’t think today has sunk in for you yet.

Oh, and the crime is conspiracy not collusion.

Uh, in the future, if the Democrats, say, nominate a demented, cartoonishly crooked narcissist who pays hush money to porn stars or does all the squalid and bizarre ■■■■ that Trump does–the GOP can have at it (as they did with the Clintons for years over pressing concerns like old land deals and the murder of Vince Foster).

But I like that you think there’s some mysterious “game” being played here. There’s no secret. There’s no game. The Republicans nominated Donald Trump and he got elected. His corruption and that of the criminals and grifters he attracts is flagrant and explicit.

Dude (or Dudette) :slight_smile: I know. I was just taking it to the next level. lol

That’s pretty much it.

This is MASSIVE news. Not only did Cohen, Trump’s longtime attorney, plead guilty but he also committed some of the crime he plead guilty to AT THE DIRECTION of the President. All UNDER OATH! Let that sink in for a minute.

I am outsmarted… LOL… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::joy::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

HBO series imo

Based on the statute under which Cohen pled guilty, it looks like he is the only guilty party. The President’s acts are purely bad optics (but technically not a crime ha!) That may have been purposeful so as not a create a giant cluster…

Right that’s the thing co-ordinated, not conspired. It’s not a minor difference that the President’s defenders are going to jump all over

Yup, major news day today. What will tomorrow bring?

It all seems, to me, to not matter since he is President and he can do what he pleases to make a lot of this go away should he choose to do so. And why not? What would he have to lose?

His base will stick with him regardless, they don’t care about character and they certainly don’t care about the country. They care about winning, about sticking it to pompous Liberals who sneer behind their backs and push social agendas too fast and too far, at least in their minds.

I was watching TV the other day and paid more attention to commercials than the programs, and what I found was interesting. So many commercials showed interracial couples and gay couples. It got me to thinking, what would that do to someone who deeply held more “traditional” values? It would seem as if the world had passed them bye.

In that respect Trump becomes their weapon, a chance to damage the country they feel abandoned by, a chance to hurt those they feel wronged by. They could care less how horrible he is, just that he is hurting the people they hate.

So, if Trump indeed issues blanket pardons, they won’t care because they have never cared what he does. As long as it hurts “them”. Country be damned.

Trump has had some bad days, but this is the worst by far.

Um…

That’s not true. But a number of Trump’s people are now guilty of crimes.

This should not be surprising to anyone that’s paid attention to Donald Trump for the last 30 years.

18 USC 371.

Conspiracy to commit an offense against the United States.

Donald Trump can’t stop talking. If he goes down it’ll be because of his mouth.
