He is demonizing the idea that a current president (who is white) is perpetuating. If you support Trumps idea that only brown people are criminals (since I’ve never heard him have a concern for white terrorists) then you are a part of what Don Lemon is talking about.
If you don’t subscribe to that idea, like I am assuming his husband/boyfriend does, then you aren’t the target of Dons point.
