CNN says that the push to have more than 3 debates means the Trump camp knows it’s losing big to Biden. They are panicking, and we all see it.
CNN yes…and FOX says it too! So CNN is a reliable source…now that Fox is reporting it as well!!!

You know, if I was responsible for such decisions, I would likely go ahead and add at least one more - with Megyn Kelly moderating.

Hey, maybe they could throw in a couple of moderators from CNN. Then again, that might upset some sheople.
Remember when The Donald was going to just sit out the debates?

I remember the time he skipped one of the GOP debates because he was afraid of a moderator that asked him a moderately difficult question. Fun times.
He’s better at it now…hes spent months debating with Dr. Fauci…

So it’s reported that Trump rescheduled in honor of the new Juneteenth event? Now I heard lots of condemnation prior…but silence when he respected the wishes? Hmmmmm…wonder why?
The topic of the thread is Trump campaign pushing for more debates.
Yeah!!! Let’s stick to the topic! No deflecting!

Pushing for more debates would seem…logical. There is much to discuss regarding current events…don’t you agree? There’s trade negotiations with China. There’s this national/world pandemic going on that was potentially avoidable? There’s riots all over the country, the discussion of “defunding the police”, the tearing down of monuments and what to do about restoring law and order? There’s this national economy that went south, that needs to be reactivated? There’s quite a bit going on that I doubt can be discussed fully in 3 debates that is very important to some, when considering their Presidential vote…don’t you agree?
It has nothing to do with CNN. Anyone who follows politics, even casually knows that the below is completely accurate.
Conventional political wisdom dictates that the candidate pushing for more debates is the candidate who is trailing. That person needs debates to create a moment (or moments) that can change the momentum and trajectory of the contest.
That person isn’t usually the incumbent. Typically challengers push for more debates because they need a forum to land the one big punch that can change things.
This has been true in politics across all levels for decades.

Even this guy, as clueless as he was, was still a better President than Trump.
