No, that’s not the situation. Just answer the question on that scenario please. Who’s the clever one in that story? Are you afraid to just answer the question? And ask yourself why you are afraid to answer it.

It will be the situation if I work in the same place for 40 years.

If my peers pass me, the only place I have to look is in a mirror.

Similar story from político that show that James Carville and economic models show that the President May very well win in a landslide if the economy does not slow down

That’s exactly what was said.:roll_eyes:

I miss the old Sneaky.

Who’s the clever one in that story? You don’t want to answer because even you know that you are the guy that hasn’t received an actual raise in the last 40 years.

And while others are pointing out to you that you’ve been getting screwed over, you’re just hell bent on defending and admiring the ones that have been doing the screwing.

I know, I know… You’ve done great for yourself, blah, blah, blah. You obviously “just don’t get”, like I quoted.

And you really need to pay closer attention when you read something man. The story I put forth clearly said everyone was working the same job, it had nothing to do with peers passing anyone by. The only difference was an inequality of pay that developed.

Yeah, it is. I haven’t changed, the topics have.

Clever don’t put meat on the table, lib. Work does.

Agree completely. But you don’t have to keep bending over and taking it once you realize that you’ve been getting screwed for 40 years.

In the real story, that is not a company it is our country. And it’s not one guy in ten getting screwed like that, the better allegory would be 100 guys and though none of them change their jobs over the 40 years 90 of them stay at 30k, 9 of them go to 60k and 1 goes to 75k. Oh yeah, and halfway through they decide to bring in money to improve the company from 50 investors and in lieu of giving the 90 guys anymore money over the years it all goes to those 50 hard working investors.

And out of the 90 guys that got no increase even though nobody’s job changed, at least half of them keep telling their families to stop worrying about what the top 10 and 50 hard working investors are getting because it hasn’t affected them at all.

Not very clever at all.

Nope. Not at all.

And I’ll stop there.

Nope, you move on down the road and don’t wait 40 years to do it.

rofl - You really can’t grasp this can you? There is nowhere for the 90 to go.

Connect the dots here man. 90 out of 100 get no raise. That’s 90%. The top 10 do get raises with the top 1 getting the most of all of them. That’s the top 10%. This ringing any bells?

And none of them change their initial jobs.

But half of the 90 keep telling their families and friends that everything is fine and they are doing great! Don’t worry about the company giving all of the growing profits to the top 10 and the 50 investors.

And you are clearly someone that would be telling the 90 guys to stop worrying about where all of that money is going and just shut up and work harder. It’s bizarre man.

Sorry you didn’t win. Jerseyites lost. Only 6 years more and it will go back to the way it was

It’s all about winners and losers.

Why do you care about the taxes jerseyites pay?

It’s really doesn’t effect you one iota.

Allan

There’s your error.

I don’t care. The teeth gnashing and wailing makes me laugh.

why does jerseyites angst cause you to laugh?

do i laugh when texans do something stupid (jade helm for instance)
okay forget that I asked this question. LoL

Allan

Because you think you are superior.

Knowledge is key.

at least I didnt fall for that Jade Helm stuff like your governor did.

Now our governor at the time was Christie so I grant you there wasnt much difference.

dumb and dumber.

Allan

He didn’t fall for anything. Your virtue signaling is why I laugh.

I would say 90%.

The bias is strong in that one.

Against the so far declared candidates…Yes.

Against Biden? I think it is a close race, but still a Trump win.
