The NYPD arrested at least 25 climate protesters Monday in lower Manhattan after the demonstrators allegedly doused the iconic Wall Street Bull statue with “fake blood” to highlight the dangers of global warming.
“Police arrested 25 people taking part in a climate change protest at the charging bull statue on Wall Street in Lower Manhattan. Authorities say the protesters surrounded the iconic statue and threw red paint on it,” reports ABC New York.
