I was once a municipal employee. It was drilled into us all the time that as taxpayer paid employees, we could not accept gifts and goodies from constituents. There are judicial rules even more rigid, because nothing says “paying off a judge” more than showering them with expensive gifts and luxuries. This shouldn’t be an argument.

Thomas should have been upfront about his vacations, gifts, real estate deals, Ginni’s compensation etc. He was not. Why can’t you just accept it? Pro Publica may ‘lean left’ but they have the evidence. I’m sure if Fitton could find anything about the liberal justices, you would have heard about it.

Republicans have been in control of the House for 3 going on 4 months. Those in charge have been foaming at the mouth for impeachment since Biden was elected.
Spoiler: They have nothing to impeach him on. And they must have absolutely nothing because they’d do it for any trivial thing they could find.

Pelosi went through two feel good impeachments of Trump when she knew ahead of time he would have been cleared in the Republican Senate. The House is just ethical enough now not to waste millions going through an impeachment of Biden that would never make it through a Democrat Senate.
