Christopher steele's "Primary Subsource" Was a russian Boozehound who Worked With "Star Impeachment Witness"

Good read from Real Clear investigations, including this:

At the time, Danchenko worked as a research analyst for the Brookings Institution, where he became a protégé of Hill. He collaborated with her on at least two Russian policy papers during his five-year stint at the think tank and worked with another Brookings scholar on a project to [uncover alleged plagiarism in Russian President Vladimir Putin’s doctoral dissertation — something Danchenko and his lawyer boasted about during their meeting with FBI agents. (Like Hill, the other scholar, Clifford Gaddy, was a Russia hawk. He and Hill in 2015 authored “Mr. Putin: Operative in the Kremlin,” a book strongly endorsed by Vice President Joe Biden at the time.)

“Igor is a highly accomplished analyst and researcher,” Hill noted on his LinkedIn page in 2011. “He is very creative in pursuing the most relevant of information and detail to support his research.”

And what the hell was joe biden doing endorsing a book by the future “star impeachment witness” while he was VP?? I hear that’s bad.

Drip, drip, drip.

A russian is finally arrested in the “russian collusion” saga.

And don’t forget, fiona hill (see 1st trump impeachment) just loved this guy.

oh boy. the best hillary’s campaign could buy

Russian collusion. The ■■■■■■■ guilty democrats accused our man of what they knew they were doing. These people are the essence of evil.

He was arrested for repeatedly lying about the sources of his “information” that he fed to Steele. It’s still not clear what those sources were. Supposedly he thought he was passing on rumors and was surprised to find them used as real evidence in the dossier.
So…was there real Russian interference in our elections…to benefit Hillary?

Nah… read the indictment.

It isn’t as explosive as all of that.

I downplayed the seriousness. It says that warrants were issued by the FBI based on his lies.

There are five counts but two lies of import.

One is about if he had talked to PR Executive 1 about things that ended up in the Dossier. This is based on a June 15 2017 interview. So this would have been around the time of the final renewal.

He said that they did not talk about anything “specific” that went into the dossier… but it looks like they did. They talked about Manafort.

The last four counts are all around testimony that he had about Chamber President -1 (Sergei Miilian)

These are about four times he gave testimony starting in march 2017.

It is about a phone call that may or may not have happened between Danchenko and Millian.

What is at question here is that Danchenko gives pretty squirrely testimony and uses phrases like “It sounded like him” and " I believed it was him"

Is that enough to convict?

I don’t know.

Does it blow the whole thing wide open?

Nope

Above link for those who want to read for themselves.
That dossier was used to get FISA warrants. One of the lies was Danchenko denied the connection to a leading Democrat in the Hillary campaign. In actuality, this Hillary operative was feeding information to Danshenko, who was in turn feeding it to Steele, who in turn fed it to the FBI. The unnamed Democrat campaign operative admitted that he just made up some of the information.
Someone more familiar with Clinton campaign people could probably figure out who this operative was.

That is a novel way to interpret it.

What PR Manager -1 said he made up was that he got information about Manafort from a friend when he just got it from public reporting.

The lie that is being charged is that Danshenko said that he and PR Manger -1 didn’t talk specifics.

On that I think that Danshenko is lying.

Damage control is on scene.

Impressive.

The dude can get fired into the sun for all I care.

If people actually read the indictment… it isn’t as lame as Sussman’s… but it is still kinda lame.

Steele played a lot of people with his english accent.

Nothing to see here, Hillary orchestrated the steele dossier, her friends in the media and FBI took it from there.

FBI is corrupt to the bone. That’s what we all learned from the collusion hoax. Only Hillary colluded as we’ve said over and over.

Wow 5 counts of lying to the FBI. Somehow I doubt he’ll get the Manafort torture in a DC Gitmo.

"The investigation revealed that Fusion GPS has ties to the Hillary Clinton campaign.

After months of investigation, DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz concluded that the dossier and the DOJ and FBI investigations were “deeply flawed.” His report also notes he found no inappropriate relationship between Alfa Bank, Trump, or the Russian government during the 2016 election."

"We identified at least 17 significant errors or omissions in the Carter Page FISA applications, and many additional errors in the Woods Procedures. These errors and omissions resulted from case agents providing wrong or incomplete information to OI and failing to flag important issues for discussion.”

Can’t you read? Just errors.

Now we have the corporate cable media the left trusts doing fake news by omission in not telling their viewers they were fooled for years .

Everyone in DC knew the dossier was a Hillary hit piece in Aug. of 2016. And that includes Obama and Brennen.

Looks like the esteemed Brookings Institute was the epicenter of the Steele Dossier and Russia Collusion political disinformation campaign.

Fiona Hill was so righteous in first sham impeachment…now we know a bit more.

The indictment of Igor Danchenko, the “primary sub-source” of Christopher Steele’s infamous dossier, reveals that the FBI electronically recorded several previously undisclosed interviews with the Brookings Institution researcher. Separately, it raises suspicions, according to congressional sources, that his Brookings superior Fiona Hill may have committed perjury when testifying about Steele during President Trump’s first impeachment.

I’m sure it’s just a coincidence that the key players behind the effort to sabotage trump with the russian hoax and the ukraine impeachment just happen to know each other.

Nothing to see here…
