You can extrapolate the numbers from what is seized. It makes sense. Illegals draw more scrutiny by default.

That’s not my experience.
Illegals draw more scrutiny by default.
Sure, if they get caught.
The border is a mess, but illegals aren’t responsible for the increase in fentanyl crossing.
Aren’t SOLELY responsible…
With that correction, I would fully concur.
Toll_Collector:If you’re not a drug user, should you be concerned about Fentanyl?
There are many negative things that don’t affect me directly because I haven’t made those choices. That said, there are many among us that are OUR youth and “we the people” need to do everything in our power to keep their sandbox clean, allowing them to prosper along the path of education that “we” are paying for, so that when they reach adulthood, the eldest generation can pass the baton of responsibility off to them. They then become the necessary tax generators of our country, while living a fulfilling life preparing to again do the same for the generation following them.
I appreciate the response. And for the most part, it makes sense.

This makes zero sense.
US citizens “smuggling” into the country are probably presenting themselves at a staffed border crossing with identification papers trying to “beat the man” by sneaking in the contraband.
That’s not going to work for an illegal, they need to sneak themselves AND the contraband into the country. If they’re caught by law enforcement they will quickly lose the contraband.
