Not sure what the policy will be going forward, it seems Kim Jung Un has climbed out of his hole and is firing ballistic missiles again into Japan’s sea.
North Korea launched two ballistic missiles into the Sea of Japan Thursday, in its first provocation of the Biden White House.
The missiles fell into the waters that lie between North Korea and Japan, and avoided the latter’s economic zone, Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga said in a statement.
Suga condemned Pyongyang’s actions and said it “threatens the peace and security of Japan and the region.” He noted that North Korea’s actions violate U.N. Security Council resolutions.
Thursday’s launch was the first ballistic missile test since March 2020, and Suga said officials need to be “more vigilant and watchful than ever before.”

My guess is he’s rattling sabers to see how the Biden administration acts. I’m sure they’ll hand him a sweetheart Iran nuclear deal of his own which will allow him to build as many missiles as he wants.

Perhaps John Kerry can convince him to give up his nuclear ambitions to build solar panels instead.
In the OP it says first test since March ‘20. So clearly they werent “afraid” of Trump. Probably still laughing from how easily they played him.

There is absolutely nothing to worry about here folks. Trump promised us a couple of years ago that NK was no longer a nuclear threat. Rest in the knowledge that Trump solved this problem forever!
And? Someone has to do something the 30 years of appeasement and payments didn’t work. I would prefer it be another country but having NK launching ballistic missiles next to an ally country as well as possessing a hydrogen bomb is a big thing.
People won’t have to worry about climate change if one of those things go off.
