Children in Florida school encouraged to write graffiti on bathroom walls

He made the statement…I believe that he should have sufficient facts to back it up?

See back in the old days of this forum, this was how things were done. If it was an opinion you said I believe, or IMO, or just my opinion…and if you made a statement that was deemed to be a statement of fact or an actual argument, the moderators made sure you had a citation to back it up.

I posted the evidence. Did you miss the picture of the graffiti in the bathroom?

The liberty to succeed or fail at one’s own hand is a socialist’s nightmare and not the American Dream

Sure I saw the pictures…you state

Now we have teachers in our public schools, encouraging children to deface public property with graffiti messages.

Prove that’s what they are doing! And how they are accomplishing this dastardly feat.

Read the OP. The graffiti in the bathroom was done with the teachers blessing.

There is no surer way to weaken, subdue, demoralize and then conquer a prosperous and freedom loving people than by allowing and encouraging the poverty stricken, poorly educated, low-skilled, criminal and diseased populations of other countries to invade that country, and make the country’s existing citizens tax-slaves to support the economic needs of such invaders.

Not an argument…one. Prove it is Graffiti. By your argument the Sistine Chapel is Grafitti?

And more than likely the approval of the principal, the Superintendent, building and grounds and the school board. Since when did lessons in positivity become an anti-conservative stance?

Not graffiti.

Exactly.

I think the thread has reached its conclusion.

The OP link speaks nothing of GRAFFITI. It talks about art and art only. Says nothing about GRAFFITI does it?

Not the case at all.

“It’s cool and inspiring and I think we should do it all around the school,” said fifth grader, Jack Peterson, who helped paint the messages in the boys’ bathroom.

Did you watch the video in JWKs link? It was done in the boy’s bathroom as well, by boys. And girls painted the girl’s restroom.

And it’s Lakeland Florida where there was probably a large healing element to their own tragedy.

How do you know they didn’t?

I made no assertion if they did or didn’t. The assertion was made that the teachers instructed the children to never do this on other people’s property. So, were is the evidence?

We did something like this when I was in elementary school. It was a year-long art project - we each drew and painted an animal in class, and then later painted that same animal on the concrete wall of the schoolyard - every kid in my grade.

The mural stayed up until a couple years ago.

Where is the proof that this is graffiti? I did some research on this. The google search I did for Palmore elementary school bathroom graffiti only turned up this thread. Lol.

Of all the things to get worked up about. Art, self expression and lessons in positive self esteem have no place in school. Good lord.

Very strong point. Its good to see some educators thinking outside the box and coming up with inovative projects like this for the kids.

My wife is a teacher Cowboy. I shared the OP with her, and she is still irritated by its ridiculousness 45 minutes later. LOL.
