It is true, in liberalism. And now you have your definition of Woke.

If a white pol said he would only interview with white reporters, what would you say?

Isn’t she kind of shooting freedom of the press in the foot though.

Like I said before, She is circling the wagons for some reason. I just haven’t figured it out yet. She looks progressively more worried and seems greatly more defensive the last month or so.

Isn’t Wokeness simply the application of pressure upon people whose behaviors are legal but found unacceptable? From kneeling during the national anthem to refusing to make a wedding cake for a gay couple?

All the same to me.

No. There’s much more to being Woke. In particular certain notions about victims or oppressors. This ranges from mere race hustling to Cultural Marxism and intersectional lunacy.

People can cease from things, or be convinced to do them, from mere manners without accepting any aspect of Wokeness.

Pressure placed upon someone for their legal actions, regardless of actions, is the same thing to me. Today’s Wokeness is annoying and overplayed, but the genesis of it all is…‘I believe you’re wrong and going to make you pay for it’.

See you in the rabbit hole on this one, Rurudyne!

Same thing is said in this thread… they done ■■■■■■ up.

However I wouldn’t call it a privilege because I don’t want to say that… I have no desire

The privilege is not a non existent desire of mine to say it, it is the lack of repercussion she has faced for it.

Would you call him a racist? White supremacist?

Not really. It is the realization that the system is racist, that all white people are inherently racist subconsciously, that kind of thing.

So let’s say there’s some kind of a law that says only white people are allowed to golf ?

I’m guessing that shouldn’t be considered privilege by any POC as long as they have no desire to golf ?

Privilege is not about what you want to do.

Wokeness in her heart,

Of her Mayorness Dorkulese!

No mayor is failing more spectacularly at their job than Lightfoot. Even de Blasio is competent by comparison, incredulous as it might seem.

It is here. From HER tweet on twitter:

Diversity and inclusion is imperative across all institutions including media. In order to progress we must change," she continued. "This is exactly why I’m being intentional about prioritizing media requests from POC reporters on the occasion of the two-year anniversary of my inauguration as mayor of this great city.

If this were a white person saying this about black reporters . . . . there would be calls for removal of office, for her to never hold office again, for her to be run out of office.
But since it’s a black politician against white reporters . . . chirp chirp chirp in the mainstream median.

Wrong move by lightfoot here. It’s good to see minority reporters fight back against this. They see the discrimination as wrong no matter who is on the receiving end.

The National Association of Black Journalists has rebuked this racist. I’ve yet to see any Democratic Party official do the same, so their silence is endorsement.
