Nothing on this topic is about her constituency. It’s about Cheney not kissing the ring and being demoted from congressional positions over it. Period. Nothing else.
False, Cheney is being removed from leadership because she voted for Trump’s impeachment. It’s literally the only reason. She has a provably more conservative record than Stefanik, Cheney’s ambitious would-be replacement, but most elected GOP officials don’t care about conservative principles. They only care about appeasing Donald Trump.
Not over policies. She has a 90% voting record supporting Trump**, 80+ % rating voting for conservative policies. And they are looking at installing someone that has only 40% conservative rating (because the replacement has a vigina).
Cheney isn’t being ousted for policy, she’s being cancel culture outed because she called Trump** on his lies. That is not policy.
I don’t identify as strongly with one party as you do. I’ve voted for at least one Republican in every election of my adult life except for 2020, so I don’t want to see the GOP continue to abandon real conservatives for Trump loyalists.
In actuality, the Republican Party is being taken away from true Republicans, the same way Progressives have taken away the Democratic Party from true Democrats.
