Running from the covid authoritarians also.

Certainly remains to be seen.

You said meaningless.

I say interesting trend reversal.

That could be some overlap in agreement extracted from tortured message board dialogue.

Your ratio is meaningless. another ratio is not.

We are getting there.

Glad to hear you are getting my point. Truly.

What do we think about this?

No guarantees of anything, but at least it’s in the right places.

An alternative way of explaining the loss of a seat in New York is that Cuomo’s COVID policies killed so many nursing-home residents that they cost the state a seat in congress for the next decade.

Sonny Cuomo is talking about suing.

It looks good for conservatives but remember, most of the folks moving in are libs.

Blue Texas!

I don’t care about anything but California and NY losing influence.

There was a thread on this earlier.

The citizens of New York should be suing him.

Cuomo killed so many of elderly that he lost a seat in congress.

Damn. How many people had to move to Montana for them to get another seat?

Theres this thing called Austin…

Texas will tame the libs in a generation. Hope so anyway.

Well they are trying hard with the new voting restrictions. We shall see how that pans out.

It doesn’t follow that NY has fewer people just because they lost a Representative. The number of Representatives is fixed at 435 regardless of the number of people in the country. Your sarcasm is wasted.

Bless you for pointing that out. :+1:

I worked for the Census in 2010 so I was interested in following the progress.
And from the get-go saw a lot of Trump administration trying to influence the deal.
It started when Wilbur Ross lied about the Department of State wanted him to put a citizenship question on the Census. Then how the administration tried to stop the count. And then Trump wanted to get the Census results and review them before they were published. And of course the move to eliminate some folks from the count.
I think that the Census numbers will be disputed quite a bit in the coming months. And I feel for all of those folks who faced a lot of problems because of Covid and were just trying to do a good job.
