And we have no idea what that mortality rate is. There are something like 50 reported deaths in the US. That’s out of how many people infected? We don’t really know. But reported cases are only those who felt ill and actually got tests.

What about 50 deaths out of 500,000? What would that death rate be?

By that logic, you don’t know how many have been killed by it either. The known numbers are what they are.

Sure you can invent whatever numbers you like to make it look better or worse, but i’m not sure that’s at all useful.
