If you want to believe the revised Psaki version was true from the beginning then go ahead and believe that HHS always intended to hand out “safe smoking kit/supplies” that consisted of alcohol swabs and lip balm.

Needle exchanges aren’t for “new” addicts. “New” addicts can usually just buy a box of syringes at the CVS. Needle exchanges are there to serve the old addicts.

The comments I was reading were people saying that providing for these drugs users was better than the alternative. Giving them needles was stopping the spread of disease amongst the drug users, etc.
But I also read in another thread comments that people who don’t get the Covid jab shouldn’t be able to take part in society, have jobs, and they want insurance companies not cover treatment for them.

If one does not et vaxxed, they are self limiting themselves to many places…many times, by the owners of the establishment…not the state.

As far as getting treated…I believe .non vaxxed should be treated and their ins. companies should pay for it…but, most hospitals and and all ins. companies are for profit entities…they can do what they need to do. Market capitalism at play.
