Treatment and a needle exchange program are two separate things to address two separate issues.

I think that we should do both things.

How about securing the border where the popular Chinese fentanyl is flooding across our border just like the poverty stricken, poorly educated, low skilled, diseased, Covid infected, disabled and criminal populations of other countries are flooding across our border?

It is cheaper than the alternative… but we always choose the alternative.

I don’t mind them taking drugs, but paying for it with govt money is silly! And it’s a quasi endorsement of the crack lifestyle. Just going to lead to more homelessness…

This program is about mitigating disease.

The less disease there is is a net gain for everyone.
