Canadian Prime Minster candidate attack a teenager for having a disability

In what could only be the single stupidest attack ever everyone favorite last place polling candidate attack a teenager on twitter today for having a disability. Maxime is desperate for attention as latest poll show his party winning ZERO seats.

People’s Party of Canada Leader Maxime Bernier has doubled down after attempting to discredit an internationally recognized teenage climate change activist by calling her “mentally unstable.”

After facing scorn on Twitter for his remarks on Greta Thunberg on Sunday, Bernier did not back down in an eight-part tweetstorm the following day.

He joins a long list of white conservative men who are apparently so threatened by what this young lady has to say about climate change that they done everything from personally attack to wish death upon her.

can’t wait till the election is over and we never need to hear from him again, he is polling so bad he might not even win his own seat again.

I can’t believe this idiot almost became the leader of the second biggest party in Canada.

Could we see that list, please?

When a person places themselves into the spotlight and leads a charge that is controversial, they are NOT off limits to criticism that goes along with the political/social position they have taken. Libs want it both ways but it doesn’t work that way, no matter who you are. The old saying, if you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen…applies in this instance.

I agree he should keep speaking up and letting his views known. It’s better to shine a light on his stupidity.

Agreed my friend. It goes both ways and all of us have the right to vote with our $, our voices and our ballot.

Yes! Totally agree. People should be speaking up about the content of what is said and not about the disabilities of the people they disagree with.

Does the mental disability, in anyway diminish the level of perceived thinking and conclusions, regarding this issue? In the desire to be fair and impartial, how can you conclude it doesn’t? If it does, is it off-limits to verbalize this conclusion?

Here are some tweets from men and women. Since they are attacking her for her liberal beliefs, people could assume they are not liberal and most likely conservatives. Just head that argument off.
Warning. There might be swears.

Nope not all. It’s autism. Do you work with autism? Because I do. There is a good chance her IQ is higher then both of ours.

…and so the opposite is also true?

If you want to judge her and critique her for her disability, have at it. That’s a stand I am not comfortable taking for any human. I prefer to judge a person based on their words and actions.

I haven’t and I have no desire to but that isn’t the issue? She placed herself in the public spotlight allowing herself to be examined and criticized by that same public. This isn’t my thing. I attempt to do my part on a daily basis to minimize the pollution I bring into this world. It’s how I was taught…long before this became an issue to raise taxes for politicians?.

So we established that you and Greta have different opinions on being in public. Great. Of course people can judge her for her autism. Just as others can think those judging her for her autism are ■■■■■■■■■ Free world and all.

My compliments on your work with autistic children. That’s a gift for both them and the rest of the world. Thank you for your efforts in this area.

@GretaThunberg is clearly mentally unstable,” he tweeted. “Not only autistic, but obsessive-compulsive, eating disorder, depression and lethargy, and she lives in a constant state of fear. She wants us to feel the same: ‘I want you to panic. I want you to feel the fear I fear every day.’”

what the hell, lol.

Ok. So the long list of “white conservative men” is now up to five men and women whom we have never heard of and do not know their general political beliefs.
Just wanted to establish the broad brushing.

He didn’t mention that Doug had heard of them. Talk about nitpicking. Lol. You asked for a list. You received a list. It’s unreasonable to expect a complete list. Lol.

I didn’t receive a long list, now did I?
