Nationalism will always be here as long as we have the Bill of Rights.

Nice article on how our Constitution fails in other countries and how
Bolívar tried. To bad Judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg has an issue with it.

The bill of rights has nothing to do with nationalism. Flawed premise

I disagree, Nationalism comes from Patriots defending the Bill of Rights.

Nope. Nationalism is a distinct ideology different from simply having a nation.

So is Communism, but yet the two can’t occupy the same space. Why, because of the Bill of Rights.

Of course Nationalism and Communism can “occupy the same space”.

Not much of a student of history, are you?

Why the unnecessary insult?

Well certain strains of communism.

Pure Marxism and Trotskyism envision the dissolution of the state. Without a nation there can be no nationalism.

Stalinism and Maoism are both communist ideologies mixed with elements of nationalism. Maoism especially.

Obama proved you wrong, I saw it coming when I heard Obama was part of Rev. Wrights church of hate, radical communist Valerie Jarrett as an adviser for 8 years, not hard to figure out why this country is divided.

I have no idea what you’re trying to say here.

Are you sure you’re using the right terms?

There was nothing Nationalist about Obama.

There was nothing Communist about Obama, either.

Communists have nations too

This went well.

Definition of nationalism

1 : loyalty and devotion to a nation especially : a sense of national consciousness (see consciousness sense 1c) exalting one nation above all others and placing primary emphasis on promotion of its culture and interests as opposed to those of other nations or supranational groups Intense nationalism was one of the causes of the war.

I am a nationalist. I believe the United States has an ideology of freedom and liberty that surpasses that of other countries, that provides an opportunity for all to achieve their individual dreams if they are willing to sacrifice both their time and effort. The proof is in all of those from other countries desiring to come here. What I don’t believe is that “we” should attempt to dominate other countries, forcing our way of life on them, leading to war.

Oh we know. You’ve proven that in spades over the last two years. Much to many of our dismay.

That reflects more of your interpretation of the word, than myself…of which…you know very little my friend.

I know more than you think. You’ve shared quite a bit over the years. The last two especially, during the Smyrna transformation.

Thanks for proving my point. I haven’t changed but your interpretation has and it’s basing much on little.
