Do you have a doctor? I’d recommend consulting with him/her.
I am not, but I doubt they would encourage someone with IBS to put that stuff in their gut.
YMMV.

Of course I do. I have universal healthcare.

That’s mostly water weight. You gain it back the next day. Along with impacted material.
The drink works by sucking moisture into your intestines liquefying the impacted material. After a few go’s the rest is all water from your body. You’re not losing 6-10 lbs of matter.
Speaking from experience. My father died of colon cancer so I started my colonoscopies early. My brother in law is a GI Doctor. I confirmed all the myths vs scientific facts through him.

Especially vitamin D, for women. I broke my ankle a few years ago - come to find out, my vitamin D level was at 19 (in ml or however they measure it) when it should be at 50. Took a year and a half of taking 6000-7000 units of D most days of the week to get my level to 45. Several women I know are low on D and they really should test for it more.

Holy crap, you really had to build back up in a bad way, huh?
To add on, there appear to be studies that link diseases like Alzheimer’s, Fibromyalgia, MS, Osteoporosis, along with many others, to a deficiency in Vitamin D.
An interesting correlation is that said diseases occur most often in the northern hemisphere, where people get less sunlight.

I’m a redhead (or at least I was. As I got older my hair is more brown with red highlights), and while I haven’t really looked into it, I’ve read that redheads don’t absorb D from the sun like regular (lol) people, and that we kind of manufacture our own. Which if true is very weird. But yes I’ve read that too about Alzheimers, at least. Really needs to be tested for more regularly. For men too, I would think.

No the best thing about sunny side up eggs is dipping the toast in them.

Eat a low residue diet for 3 days before that bottle and hardly anything will come out, except water. I don’t think there’s that much impaction in there, it’s mostly what you’ve eaten in the last day or so.
It’s a trick for colonoscopy prep.
I had to start colonoscopies young because of family history. Low residue diet for 3 days prior and the prep is over and done in no time and without drama.

It wasn’t painful, just was not pleasurable as some might envision pulling a gelatinous turd strand from their rectum might be.

Explain low residue, please?

It’s easy to find on the internet.
Basically, no red meat, fatty meat, dairy, fruits, veggies, or whole grain products.
You can have a bit of olive oil or Mayo for flavor.
I basically subsist on stuff like a plain bagel with some jam for breakfast, chicken breast white bread sandwich with mayo for lunch, plain chicken breast or fish with white rice or pasta for dinner.

Worst part is that I am so hungry after doing the prep.
But it’s so worth it to avoid the apocalyptic prep.

Chicken and seafood/fish are good then? Those are my primary source of protein. Milk too I suppose, I have a hard time not having a quart of chocolate milk before bed.
I’m unable to eat breakfast anymore for some reason. I did my morning PT 3 hours ago and still not so much as a gurgle. If I try to force food down in the morning, it’ll come right back up within 20 minutes.

I can’t remember about dairy, there are detailed instructions online. I think lowfat no fat dairy is fine. Sugars are fine unless in a fatty product.
It helps that I always schedule in the dead of winter so I don’t have to ban myself from the produce coming from my garden.
If you try it you will be shocked how little stuff comes out.

I’m more shocked at how little comes out for weeks at a time right before everything comes out all at once. lol

I had Indian at a local buffet for lunch FYI.
My standard diet is the four basic food groups:
Sugar, salt, fat and caffeine every day.
And for those who desire dessert, cigarette!
