But yet every couple of months we are offered a OP about only Venezuela. Sure there are bad things with that and other socialist countries. And we can learn from the failures and successes of how socialist countries work. But it seems that those who make these posts are not interested in discussing both sides of the argument or even admit that we have many forms of socialism in our country today. And that many of those are successful.

There is a difference between a state supporting social welfare programs and a socialist country that controls the means of production. Venezuela fits the later description. Canada does not…
