Looks like the leftist really donât want to make it easier for everyone to vote.
They just want to make it easier for leftist to vote and harder for conservatives.
The California law allows people to hand their ballots over to any designated person, who then delivers the ballot. Under that law, California Democrats have held âballot partiesâ where attendees fill out their mail-in ballots and leave them with volunteers who return the ballots en masse. But Republicans in the state often decry ballot harvesting, and the California GOP sued Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) this year over the practice.
Now, the party is using the same law to justify the unofficial ballot boxes, arguing that its boxes are akin to volunteers who collect ballots from voters. âThis procedure has been in place since 2016 â not sure why people are all of a sudden surprised,â the California GOP tweeted.
20133. Determination of Drop-off Locations and Number of Drop Boxes.
Drop-off locations shall be determined by the county elections official. In determining locations, the elections official shall, at a minimum, consider concentrations of population, geographic areas, voter convenience, proximity to public transportation, community-based locations, security, and available funding.
Staffed drop box locations may include, but are not limited to, city offices, public libraries, county offices, assisted living facilities, local businesses, and offices of community organizations.
The number of drop-off locations and drop boxes shall be determined by the county elections official.

. #1 Setting up your own personal drop box to collect ballots is not âdesignating personâ as a drop box is not a person.
#2 The law also requires that drop boxes be designated by county election officials, placed in only approved locations, and be constructed to achieve certain security requirements.
Quoting the news article is great, but often you(c) need to look behind the curtain and actually look at the law.
Really, could you link to an example of the DNC setting up fraudulent drop boxes in Orange County California and labeling them as âOfficialâ without official designation by the country election officials?
However, I canât imagine ballot parties are meeting the requirements, either.
They were greeted by members of the Democratic Party of Orange County, who were hosting a âballot partyâ focused on encouraging the workers to participate in the 2020 elections.
Organizers gave speeches, answered questions and handed out party recommendation pamphlets. Then workers were told that, if they wanted to, they could fill out their mail-in ballots and leave them in a sealed envelope that organizers would turn in on their behalf.

If people were turning in ballots to them for the primary without proper designation, then the DNC violated the law. They should be prosecuted just like the GOP in California attempting voter fraud.
However they did NOT setup an unmanned Drop Box and label it âofficialâ so fail on that part.
There could easily be a designated person for every drop off box who is responsible for âharvestingâ and delivering the ballots. The GOP was taking advantage of the ballot harvesting law passed by Democrats.
If you are using the work âakinâ to link what you are doing to a law, you are violating the law and are using weasel words to get yourself out of trouble.
They try to win by voter suppression; if they canât suppress the votes, they try to win by voter fraud; if they canât win by voter fraud, they try to claim you won by voter fraud, and therefore they need to suppress the vote.
The California GOP breaks the law, Trumpâs default position is donât comply â go to court, and his MAGA supporters argue that mail boxes are people.
Hey, corporations might still be people but mailboxes never were.

.
Only the California GOP would dig in to continue to commit voter fraud in a State they wonât win.
Seems like it would be more useful to commit voter fraud in a battle ground state.
#1 The unofficial drop boxes are illegal.
#2 To allow an individual (and a drop box is not an individual) to transfer a mail in ballot for someone else they person must be authorized and the ballot has to be signed.

.
So when these GOP ballot are delivered to election officials they will be rejected and the votes not counted. Now that is brilliant.
