It certainly will be one of the reasons that Trump will be kicked out of the white house in 2021.
And it is really going to help wining back part of the Senate.
Because of Trump’s attitude and the attitude of many of his supporters the left will regain power again.

When I said “involved” I mean professionally as an engineer working for the State Dept. of Transportation. I conducted the field damage assessments and wrote the Emergency Relief reports. and the requests for Federal funding.
And your perception as to what constitutes common logic is flat out wrong. Damage from a storm or earthquake or any other natural disaster is done to man made structures and facilities. A 6 point earthquake in a heavily urbanized area will do far more damage than an 8 point earthquake far from a population center. This earthquake occurred in a relatively low population area. There was not much there to be destroyed. Dollars worth of damage is perhaps the least best way to describe the severity of the natural event.

The demeaning seems to be bipartisan unfortunately. I’m old enough to remember the country coming together after 9/11 to help NYC. And now we have become so tribal from leaders calling vast portions of America deplorable to not wanting to help fellow citizens in need.
I hate to use this term and I know it’s not a popular phrase but we’re becoming Balkanized.
